Kota Kinabalu: The Christmas Eve public holiday still applies, said State Secretary Datuk Safar Untong.
The Dec 24 public holiday has been gazetted in the State Gazette GN 310/2019 dated Dec 19, 2019, said Safar in a statement today.
The clarification came following confusion whether the public holiday, introduced by the previous state government led by Warisan Plus last year, still applied.
