Kuala Lumpur: The Federation of Chinese Associations Malaysia (Huazong) is optimistic the new China Ambssador to Malaysia, Ouyang Yujing, can help boost bilateral ties between both nations. Its President Tan Sri T.C Goh said Ouyang has vast experience in diplomatic and cross-border affairs and would be able to take the bilateral relationship between China and Malaysia to the next level.
He hoped bilateral trade between Malaysian and China would achieve greater heights under Ouyang’s stewardship and continuous support from the China Embassy in Malaysia.
Goh acknowledged that throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, China has played a leading role in fighting and containing the pandemic, besides being a catalyst to post-pandemic economic recovery for Asean countries, Malaysia included.
