Sawit Kinabalu gives RM7.2mil in Covid aid

Kota Kinabalu: Sawit Kinabalu Group channeled a total of RM7.2 million in assistance to control the spread of the Covid-19 as well as coordinating the burden of various parties, including its employees who we affected by the virus.

According to a statement, in the effort to help control the spread of  the pandemic in the State, the Kinabalu Palm Oil Group presented contribution to the State Disaster Fund Committee amounting to RM2 million in April this year.

“Sawit Kinabalu is also very concerned about the welfare of its employees where the company spent RM4.8 million to ensure the safety of  employees throughout Sabah,” the statement said.
