Masidi: Sabah’s rubbish woes stems from local authorities, society
Kota Kinabalu: THE main problem relating to rubbish in Sabah lies in the attitude of both the local authorities and the people, said State Local Government and Housing Minister Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun (pic).

Masidi, who is also Finance Minister II, said there is no perfect formula to resolve the garbage problem in Sabah.

“Whether the rubbish is collected, it depends on the management as the collection contract covers all types of collection,” he told the State Assembly, Wednesday.

“However, the collection schedule is something that should be improved by the local authorities.
