Menggatal: City Hall (DBKK) is finalising its District Plan to make the surrounding countryside attractive for tourism with proper planning for islands and hills suitable for a district park, resort and homestay development, besides others.Assistant Minister to the Chief Minister Datuk Abidin Madingkir commended outgoing Mayor Datuk Nordin Siman for the first District Plan covering the countryside of Kota Kinabalu District.
He said this after attending a briefing by DBKK Planning Department Director Augus Tamaning on the Kota Kinabalu District Plan at Kokol Haven Resort, here, Tuesday.
Newly-appointed KK Mayor Noorliza Ag. Alip who will take over from Nordin on Jan 1 and other officials were also present.
