Kota Kinabalu: Sabah recorded another new cluster, Saturday, this time in Tambunan (Batu 8 cluster). The cluster which has four cases bringing its cumulative to 52 cases was detected due to social activities (rice harvesting and Christmas celebrations) on Saturday.
The cluster also recorded cases in two other districts namely Ranau (three) and Kota Belud (two).
Based on the State Health Department’s infographic, there are a total of 113 new and existing clusters across Sabah to date.
Meanwhile, State Local Government and Housing Minister, Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun who is also the State’s official Covid-19 spokesperson in a statement, said Sabah recorded a total of 259 cases on Saturday.
