TAWAU: Tawau Umno will field a candidate supporting the vision of party President Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi and State Umno chairman Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin come 15th General Election (GE15).

 Tawau Umno chief Ghazalie Ansing (pic) said this was agreed upon during a divisional meeting here to maintain Umno’s presidency in federal governance.

 “It is time for Tawau Umno to reclaim the seat after handing it over to Barisan Nasional (BN) component parties,” he said when officiating the meeting.

 “The compromise has cost the welfare of the Malay and Islamic communities.
