BELURAN:  A two-doored workers quarters was destroyed in a fire at Meliau Estate, Jalan Pamol, here, Sunday.“Nobody was reported injured in the fire which is still under investigation,” said Beluran Fire and Rescue Station Chief, Rastam Keladi, in a statement, here.  He said nine firefighters led by Rahmat Rudat were deployed to the scene some 111 kilometres away following an 8.03am distress call via MERS 999.

 The fire was brought under control at about 10.20am, with operations ending some 30 minutes later.
