Elderly hurt in Pitas fire
The house razed to the ground.
PITAS:  A 74-year-old sustained injuries to his back after his house caught fire at Kg Pangkalan Feri near here, on Sunday.

 His four family members managed to escape the inferno unscathed.

 Kota Marudu Fire and Rescue Station Chief, Rony Sikawan, said the elderly identified as Abu Bakar Hasan, was rushed to the Pitas Hospitals by civilians.
 He said the 4.30am fire also destroyed several other premises including a sundry shop and a warehouse. A Perodua Kancil was also damaged by the flames.
