SANDAKAN: Eagles Rugby Club (ERC) and the Sandakan Rugby community ended their “rugbycares” programme for 2020 by organising another blood donation drive jointly with the Duchess of Kent Hospital in Sandakan.The effort was one of the many projects which Eagles Rugby Club and the Sandakan Rugby community organised  under their “returning to the community” programme. ERC also led the way in a series of food distribution programmes whereby many families affected by the covid-19 pandemic were identified and given basic food items to help them tide over their tough economic circumstances.

In August, last year, the Sandakan rugby community organised their first blood donation drive which was also a success.
