Kota Kinabalu: Deputy Chief Minister-cum-Agriculture and Fisheries Minister Datuk Seri Dr Jeffrey Kitingan has tested positive for Covid-19, said an aide.
Jeffrey, who underwent the test Sunday, is currently undergoing treatment at Queen Elizabeth Hospital where his condition remains stable, said his Political Secretary Arlinsia Agang in a press statement.
Despite the setback, he will still carry out his responsibilities through video conferencing, email and other means.
Jeffrey said he is feeling fine, called for calm and prayed that Sabah will be free from Covid-19.
