Flooding recedes in Beaufort but folks wary
BEAUFORT: Flash floods in the area have started to subside but residents remain cautious due to the unpredictable weather (pic).“The current weather is still cloudy and is predicted that it will rain again,” said a spokesperson from the Sabah Drainage and Irrigation Department.

He said their report as of 6am on Monday showed that the water level in Beaufort had dropped to 8.66 metres.
“The water level in Padas River is now 8.66 metres,” he said, explaining that danger warning is issued when the water reaches 8.70 metres while the warning level is at 8 metres and alert level is 7.50 metres.
