Kota Kinabalu: Two houses were razed in Kg Muhibbah Lama, Putatan, early Tuesday.

 Nobody was reported hurt in the incident.  The State Fire and Rescue Department were alerted of the incident via MERS 999 at about 5.47am.

 Nine firefighters from Penampang led by Mohd Khairul Kohir rushed to the scene located 12 kilometres away  Also at the scene were seven fighters from Kota Kinabalu.

 The fire was brought under control at about 6.39am, with operations ending at about 7.05am.

 The cause of fire and estimated loss is still being probed.
