How Beaufort teacher helps 10 youngsters earn living

BEAUFORT: A teacher here has taken the initiative to provide jobs for young people by selling refined black soil. Abd Sani Mokjin, 40, from Kg Mentulud, some 30 kilometres from here, is happy to be able to help 10 young people in generating income.

 These youngsters are those who have been laid off due to the Covid-19 Movement Control Order.
 “Their job is to fill sacks with black soil which are then sold to nearby villages as well as Pekan Beaufort and Putatan,” he said, here, Wednesday.
