Python shock in Sandakan
SANDAKAN: A resident had a shock to find a large python wrapped around a log close to her as she was harvesting tapioca within her compound at Kg Segaliud, Wednesday.

The 1.5-metre long reptile, which weighed about 10kg, has since been captured by the Civil Defence Force and released into its natural habitat.

The resident saw the snake at about 11.47am and called for help via MERS 999.
