Kota Kinabalu: The State Government does not plan to impose mandatory quarantine on teachers from Sarawak and Peninsular Malaysia when they return to Sabah for duty. However, Sabah’s Covid-19 Spokesperson Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun (pic) said the Government would continue to monitor the Covid-19 situation and make changes accordingly if needed.
He was asked whether Sabah would emulate the Sarawak Government which had made it a requirement for returnees to undergo mandatory quarantine upon entering Sarawak.
“As of now there are no changes to the current SOP. But we are evaluating it daily, we would make changes if necessary.
