Kota Kinabalu: Sabah needs to continue increasing efforts to attract outside investments that could help develop the State, said Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin. “Actually there are already investors, including from China and Hong Kong, who have shown interest to invest in Sabah.
“Investors from China, for example, have expressed interest in putting their money for the construction of a ‘sky train’ in the Ministry’s planning,” said Bung Moktar, who is also State Infrastructure Development Minister, at a dinner to foster ties with former 1991 Umno youth leaders at a hotel here, Thursday.
Apart from that, he said, agriculture also has the potential to be developed due to foreign investors who have shown interest in the sector.
