BUKAU: A road here, which leads towards tourism and agriculture centres, is in urgent need of repair as it is a path frequented by many agropreneurs, said a villager.Maksit Saidi said the damaged 5.5 kilometre stretch, which is slippery and muddy, poses safety concerns to farmers who often visit agriculture centres to transport their produce.
The road starts from the junction into Meraba up until Ulu Karangan, he said.
“There are three badly damaged spots on the road and we sympathise with the smallholders who commute with this road back and forth daily,” he told Daily Express, Saturday.
