(pic) said the charge for the rapid test kit (RTG-Ag) by a private clinic here was higher than in the mainland and this was “hurting” those seeking the service.
“I hope the clinic could adjust the fee which seems to be double that in the mainland,” he said.

He said the clinic set up at the Menumbok ferry terminal by a private entity with the co-operation of the Health Ministry and the Port and Harbour Department charges only RM150 for similar walk-in test, with the result available within an hour.
“Whereas in Labuan, many have complained that the charge is RM280 for similar test. Initially it was RM300 but reduced to RM280, which is still high.”
