Senior citizen held for flouting SOP in B’fort
Police personnel making their rounds.
BEAUFORT: Police inspected several premises here, Sunday, and arrested a 73-year-old for not complying with the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).

District Police Chief DSP Azmir Abd Razak said a total of 10 visitors and two premises owners were inspected at Max Snooker shop.

“The visitor was found not to have written the name, telephone number and temperature on the book provided.

“The individual committed an offence under Per.11 (1) Infectious Disease Prevention Regulations (Measures in Local Infected Areas) No.8, Year 2020,” he said.
