Cashier, 19,  fined for having illegal 4D items

Kota Kinabalu:  A 19-year-old cashier was fined RM1,000 or two months’ jail for having illegal 4D items.

Magistrate Lovely Natasha Charles meted out the sentence to Aly Zuhana who admitted to having the paraphernalia.

She was found to have committed the offence at 5.21pm on March 15, 2020 at a shop in Kg Air, here.

The offence under Section 9(1) of the Common Gaming Houses Act 1953 provides for a fine of up to RM5,000 or up to six months jail or both on conviction.
