Chiz says he won’t run for president in 2022 elections
MANILA: Sorsogon Governor Chiz Escudero (pic) gave a firm no, when asked if he had plans to run for president in 2022.

In another episode of “Adulting with Chiz,” Heart Evangelista sat down with her husband and talked about long distance relationships, donating during calamities, the elections and voting, and staying hopeful.

In the middle of their interview, Heart asked the question despite her knowing how much Chiz hated the question: “Are you running daw for president?”

“No. I have no plans in doing so,” Chiz immediately replied.

When Heart asked why, Chiz said it was because he had  “No money, no resources, not my time.”

Aside from that, Chiz said, “I am happy where I am. You have to want it actually.”

“And those who are running who say they don’t want it, it’s not that accurate. We have to want it before you can actually decide to run, to actually run a campaign, and be the president, governor, congressman, or senator.”

Heart reflected on the idea and said, “It’s gonna change your life.”

“It is, it will, so right now I’m happy where I am,” Chiz said.

It looks like the 2022 elections is on Chiz’s mind though. The Sorogon governor said he has three choices in 2022: “Run for governor again, not run, or run for senate if I have the numbers.”

He couldn’t help but poke a joke, saying his had another choice: Rely on Heart and become her fifth or sixth dog.

Heart’s vlog episode, released on Sunday, is currently trending on YouTube with nearly 200,000 views as of writing.

In a recent Pulse Asia Survey released last December, Chiz appeared as one of the possible senate bets.
