Kota Kinabalu: Torrents of seawater lashed the Tanjung Lipat coastal area here Wednesday night, leaving passers-by in awe.
A video footage of the 8.30pm phenomenon (pic) went viral on social media, including Facebook and WhatsApp.
A check at the site by this Daily Express reporter found many people gathered to take videos and photos.
City Police Chief ACP Habibi Majinji, when contacted, said the public who stopped by the roadside were ordered to leave.
