DBKK closes public parks, suspends parking fees
Kota Kinabalu: City Hall (DBKK) has temporarily shut some of its premises and public places as the second phase of the Movement Control order (MCO) in Sabah started on Wednesday.

Its Mayor Noorliza Awang Alip said payment counters at its headquarters, Urban Transformation Centres, Damai Multipurpose Hall and Centre Point will be closed until Jan 26.

“However, online payment for rating tax, compound and DBKK licences can still be made at https://eservices.dbkk.gov.my.

“The public can also download the mobile application DBKK e-cukai, Sabah Pay or use JomPay with biller code 56739 for payments,” she said in a statement.

She added for the next two weeks, DBKK will also suspend its operations on checking parking coupons, which means there will be no charges imposed on motorists.

The multi-level car parks at KK Plaza Menara Jubili here will not be opened.

As recreational activities are not allowed during the MCO, Noorliza said public parks at Likas Bay, Tun Fuad Stephens, Rimba Tropika and Petagas Memorial will be closed until further notice.

Apart from that, DBKK will shut its bus terminals in Inanam, KK central and here.
