Kota Kinabalu: Many motorists who have bought DBKK January month parking coupon for city parking, but have to work at home due to MCO, some outside of Kota Kinabalu city district, appeal to the Mayor to validate the use of January parking coupon for February.

“This will make up for the small loss during this hard time financially due to the MCO period from Jan 13 to 26. “After all, February has 28 days and deducting celebrating the City Day joy, the two-day Chinese New Year holidays and four Sundays, that leaves 21 days that DBKK can afford to forgo earning from the insufficient green zone parking from monthly parking coupon for February,” said George Mijal.

A self-proclaimed KK native, Mohd Sulaiman said: “This would be appreciated to mark the promotion of KK’s first female Mayor in the beginning of this new decade from 2021 with a month-long City Day commemoration starting Feb 2.”
