LABUAN: A number of passengers on AirAsia flight AK5173, departing Labuan for Kuala Lumpur on Jan 13 at 9.50am, are furious that the budget carrier had abruptly cancelled all its flights on the Labuan-KL-Labuan sector for 15 days due to the Movement Control Order (MCO) 2.0 which came into effect Wednesday.A regular traveller on the sector, Balakrishnan Palanisamy, said “what we were mad about is that the airline did not even have the courtesy to inform us in advance, unlike before.

“I only got to know of my dilemma when I went to the airport on Jan 13 morning to board flight AK5173. I had booked the flight a week ago and even collected the boarding pass from the airline office at the airport two days earlier.”
