SANDAKAN: President of Sandakan Tourism Association (Stan), Teo Chee Kim (pic), strongly urged the Government to extend the loan moratorium for all tourism industry players to at least June 2021 in view of the current Movement Control Order (MCO) 2.0 imposed in large parts of the country.In a statement issued here, Thursday, he said, the tourism industry is the hardest hit sector during the crisis.
Since the first MCO in March 2020, the tourism industry had virtually come to a standstill.
“As international borders continue to be closed, and interstate travel banned, there is no tourism, international or domestic, to talk about.
