TAWAU: Two courier service staff sustained injuries when their motorcycle crashed into a four-wheel-drive at Jalan Kuhara near the junction to Pasaraya Sthamin, here, Wednesday.Tawau Police Chief ACP Peter Umbuas said the duo, aged 20 and 26, suffered injuries to their ankles and even lost a tooth, in the 4.30pm mishap.
The 66-year-old Ford Ranger driver who was heading towards Kg Jawa Sentosa from Pasaraya Sthamin escaped unscathed.
Preliminary investigations showed that the four-wheel drive exited the supermarket’s junction and entered Jalan Kuhara when the Yamaha motorcycle crashed into it.
