A SIX-door workers’ quarters at the Felcra Plantation near Kg Skim Cocos at Jalan Tawau in Kunak was razed early Friday.

Nobody was reported injured in the incident. Kunak Fire and Rescue Station Chief, Madzlan Sarman, said a 9.36am distressed call prompted 12 firefighters led by A Rasah Kaluang to the scene some 15 kilometres away.

He said the premises was completely gutted by the time the team arrived.

The operations ended at about 11.11am.

The cause of fire and estimated loss is still being probed.
