RM128.9m aid under MCO: CM
Kota Kinabalu: The State Government has agreed to provide Prihatin Covid-19 2.0 assistance to Sabahans affected by the implementation of the Movement Control Order (MCO).

 Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Haji Noor (pic) said the assistance would involve RM128.98 million.

 Of this, RM97.4 million would be provided in the form of  one-off RM300 each to 324,661 individuals listed in the e-kasih, B40, orphans, senior citizens, disabled (OKU), single mothers, farmers, fishermen, smallholders, livestock breeders, tourist guides, mountain guides (malim gunung), porters, artists, taxi drivers, bus drivers, lorry drivers and hawkers.

 The rest totalling RM31.58 million is from the National Disaster Management Agency (Nadma) for providing food baskets to those affected by home quarantine order in the localities placed under Enhanced MCO (EMCO), he said in a statement Saturday.
