Kota Kinabalu: The Sabah Native Registered Tourist Guide Association (PBB) jointly with the Malaysian Red Crescent Society (MRCS) Sabah Chapter collected 100 pints of blood for the blood bank of Queen Elizabeth Hospital 2.

The programme was held at MRCS premises off Jalan Tuaran where PBB members and the public had turned up.

PBB President Abdul Latif Abd Majif said the idea was mooted by MRCS who noted that PBB had about 600 registered members.

“I told myself it would be great if we can get at least 10 per cent of our members to come,” said Abdul Latif who was delighted to see they had surpassed the target.
