Two Beaufort food stalls compounded

BEAUFORT: Two food stall operators here were each compounded for allowing customers to dine at their premises during the Movement Control Order (MCO).District Police Chief DSP Azmir Abd Razak said the first compound was issued at 1pm on Friday against a 58-year-old man who operates a food stall at Kg Pimping in Membakut.

The second compound was issued at about 9pm the same day against a 36-year-old woman who runs a food stall at Kg Tinambak in Kuala Penyu.
“Both premises were found with dine-in customers,” he said, adding that police will act aggressively with no compromise against those found flouting the Covid-19 standard operating procedures.
