Kota Kinabalu: Sabah recorded 393 positive Covid-19 cases and two new clusters in Kota Kinabalu, Tuaran and Kota Belud, Sunday.
More than half or 222 cases (56.5 per cent’) were detected through close contact screening, according to State Local Government and Housing Minister, Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun, in his daily Covid-19 update.

Also contributing to the figure are 74 from symptomatic screening, 36 from existing clusters, 21 from estate screening (social security organisation), eight from students’ dormitory admission screening and 32 are from other categories.
As for the new clusters, Jalan Mawila cluster recorded 14 cases in Kota Kinabalu bringing its cumulative to a total of 15 cases.
