SUCCC: Send employees for Covid test

Kota Kinabalu: The United of Sabah and Labuan Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry(SUCCC) urged plantations, farm owners, and manufacturers in state to respond to the State Government’s order for Covid-19 mandatory testing for employees.

SUCCC President Tan Sri Andrew Liew said this is more so following the recent outbreak of two plantation clusters in the State.

He hoped all plantations, farm indsutry, and even other industries, manufacturing and downstream industries would conduct tests for their employees to curb the chain of infection.

Liew who is also Sabah Economic Advisory Council (SEAC) member and Vice President of The Federation of Malaysia Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry hoped that the State Government would publish a Standard Operating procedure (SOP) in this regard so that there work would be no confusion.
