111 Sabah villages still affected by floods this morning
Kota Kinabalu: The number of Sabah flood evacuees remains at 443 people from 134 families currently housed at six relief centres (PPS) as at 8 this morning.

According to a statement from the Sabah Disaster Management Committee, the number of evacuees in four districts, namely, Beaufort, Kota Belud, Papar and Tenom remained unchanged since midnight last night.

Beaufort recorded the highest number of evacuees at 247 people from 76 families, currently housed in two PPS, followed by Kota Belud (129 people from 35 families); Papar (41 people from 18 families) and Tenom (26 people from five families).

Yesterday, a total of eight PPS – three in Kota Belud, Kota Kinabalu (two), Tuaran (two) and one in Paitan – were closed.
