Kota Kinabalu: Sabah recorded a whopping 6,027 positive cases in just two weeks from Jan 7 to 20, bringing the cumulative tally to 45,409 cases to date, said Sabah’s Covid-19 Spokesperson Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun (pic). He added as of Thursday there were 23 red zone districts, while three are in the yellow zone and one in the orange zone. “In addition, there is also an increase in new cases and clusters in Sabah, which is also a result of close contact screenings” said Masidi in a statement, Thursday. As such, he said the State Government has agreed to extend the current Movement Control Order (MCO) until Feb. 4, following the advice and risk evaluation by the Malaysian Health Ministry (MOH).
