LAHAD DATU: Three of four siblings, previously detained by the police for removing their father’s body from Lahad Datu Hospital last Wednesday, face two years’ jail or a fine not exceeding RM1,000, or both, if convicted.
District Police Chief, ACP Rohan Shah Ahmad, in a statement last Saturday said the investigation paper for the case had been referred to the Deputy Public Prosecutor and had agreed to charge the three suspects under Section 22 (a) of the Infectious Disease Control and Prevention Act 1988.

He said all the suspects were released on police bail.
