LAHAD DATU: A trawler skipper was detained for violating the law by fishing less than three nautical miles off Pulau Silumpat waters, here, Sunday.
District Marine Police Force Commanding Officer Supt Gan Ping Sin said 100kg of fish and the fishing boat were also seized in the operation.

He said the police would not compromise with those who violated the law, including the regulations stipulated in their fishing licence.
