Kota Kinabalu: Residents in Taman Tai Tet in Luyang want the police to enhance patrolling there as theft has become more rampant in the residential area.

A resident, Chee, on Wednesday said he was about to leave for work at 7am when he noticed that his car door was opened and that the coins inside the vehicle were missing.

“My shoes which I had left on the shoe rack was also gone and one of my window pane was pried open but thankfully the culprit could not get inside because of the window grills,” he said.

He lodged a report at the Luyang police station at about 10.50am on the same day.
