Kota Kinabalu: Sabah ranked second lowest in terms of post-Movement Control Order (MCO) domestic tourism destination in the country, according to a survey by Tourism Malaysia last year.

 The closure of borders to foreign tourists from March last year forced Malaysia to turn to the domestic market to help spur the tour, travel and hospitality industry.
