40 Labuan SPM candidates undergo Covid test

LABUAN: More than 40 Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) candidates of SMK Taman Perumahan Bedaun, here, underwent Covid-19 screening Saturday morning after one its teachers tested positive on Friday, said Labuan Health Director Dr Ismuni Bohari.“As one teacher had tested positive in the school, we have taken the necessary action by getting all the students who were close contacts to undergo the tests this morning…certainly, we will take the appropriate action after the results are released,” he said.

Dr Ismuni said based on the briefing from the Labuan Education Department, the infected teacher had taught in two classes prior to the release of his Covid-19 test results.
