TAWAU: A 34-year-old local skipper was detained after he tried to smuggle in 40 ‘ikan pelaga’ (fighting fish) to the district from Indonesia without a permit.Marine police also confiscated the man’s vessel in the 12.30pm seizure which took place in the Sg Melayu, Malaysia-Sg Nyamuk, Indonesia sea borders, here, Sunday.
