Kota Kinabalu: The GRS State Government should involve all elected representatives, regardless of their political affiliation, in the monthly district action council meetings so that issues in each district can be addressed and resolved more effectively for the benefit of the people.Member of Parliament for Sandakan, Vivian Wong (pic), said the monthly district action council meeting used to be chaired by the elected representative from each district, is an important official engagement between local government such as Majlis Perbandaran Sandakan and key agencies such as Public Works Department, Sabah Water Department, Sabah Electricity Sdn Bhd, hospital and police.
