4 sitting at one coffee house table compounded in Beaufort

BEAUFORT: Five men, aged between 32 and 67, including a shopkeeper, were summoned by a police enforcement team for violating the Movement Control Order (MCO) SOPs at a Sinaran Jaya coffee shop, Jalan Beaufort Jaya, Tuesday.

District Police Chief Azmir Abd Razak said a police team from the Beaufort IPD conducted an inspection at the shop and found four men sitting in one table.

Police informed the four individuals that they have committed an offence whereby only two people were allowed to sit in one table.

“The owner of the premises was also informed that he had committed an offence by failing to comply with the SOPs.
