KUNAK: The newly-appointed Kunak District Council is urged to be proactive in helping the local authorities by submitting ideas and suggestions to bring development to the district. Making the call, Assistant Local Government and Housing Minister Datuk Isnin Aliasnih, who is also Assistant Finance Minister II, said the councillors can be likened to “government elected representatives” who play an important role in discussing matters on development planning in the district.
