Kota Kinabalu: Victims of domestic violence are urged to seek help and take action when attacked by their perpetrators, especially during movement restrictions imposed in the State.A Daily Express survey with the Sabah Women Action-Resource Group (Sawo) found that only two domestic violence calls were made to Sawo’s hotline in Jan 2021, despite the Movement Control Order (MCO) 2.0 being imposed in the same month.
