KUALA LUMPUR: Taxpayers may submit their income tax returns for 2020 through e-Filing from March 1.
The returns are for forms E, BE, B, M, BT, MT, TF and TP, the Inland Revenue Board (LHDN) said.
In a statement, the board said it expects to receive up to 530,000 E forms from registered employers, and about 3.27 million other forms from individuals.
It said the e-Filing system can be accessed through the official LHDN website at www.hasil.gov.my.
First-time users are required to obtain a PIN number at any of the board’s branches or by filling in the Feedback Form on its website.
The board urged taxpayers to submit their return forms and pay the tax by the stipulated time to avoid any penalty.
