LABUAN: Many here are troubled with anxiety as the three-month extension on the sale of duty-free cigarettes nears and there is still no news from the Ministry of Finance (MOF) on whether to abolish the sale of such cigarettes here.The MOF, under the Budget 2021 unveiled in the Dewan Rakyat last November, had announced the removal of tax-free cigarettes in all the duty-free islands - Labuan, Langkawi, Pamgkor and Tioman – in the country.
