Kota Kinabalu: There might be a by-election for the Sebatik state seat if the State Legislative Assembly accepts a resignation letter pre-signed by Sebatik Assemblyman Hassan A. Gani Pg Amir.Parti Warisan Sabah (Warisan) President Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal said the letter was signed by Hassan in September last year as he took an oath of loyalty to the party as a candidate for the Sebatik seat, which was documented along with a video pledge.
