Kota Kinabalu: A group of Palau (sea gypsies) have turned an open space at Kg Sembulan Tengah, here, into their new “home”. Their presence raised concern among residents who hope the relevant agencies can address the matter.

“Why are the agencies concerned not taking any action as if these people are immune to our  immigration laws,” said one resident. They do not have proper documents and yet they can roam around begging for money,” he said.
